                 Stainless steel tanks are storage devices that are used to hold a range of substances. Many industries use stainless steel tanks to hold substances such as chemicals, gases, food, water, and other bulk materials. Industries that rely heavily on stainless steel tanks include pharmaceutical companies, the food and beverage industry, agriculture, and sewage and wastewater companies.

                 Steel water tanks are typically made of stainless steel which is preferred safe and used for many household applications including cooking, storing and so on. These tanks are strong and can be used for extremely large storage requirements. However, it is very expensive and comparatively difficult to install. It tends to rust and corrode. It weighs heavily and therefore it is difficult to transport and install at the same time.                  Stainless steel tanks have so many advantages. For one, they’re corrosion resistant. Because of this, they can take on corrosive chemicals and acids that other tank types cannot. In addition, they are easy to keep clean and to sterilize. Third, they make excellent pressure vessels. This is because stainless steel has such good thermal conductivity and thermal expansion rate, which is key to tanks of any sort, particularly pressure vessels. Stainless steel also resists heat transfer.

                 Most stainless steel tanks are constructed in a cylindrical or drum-like shape out of thin walls of stainless steel, although they are not limited to one shape or design. They may range from relatively small (one gallon tanks) to industrial-size tanks that are capable of holding thousands of gallons. Stainless steel tanks may be oriented either vertically or horizontally, depending on the properties of the substance being stored. The shape of most stainless steel tanks depends heavily on the materials being stored, and the space designated to hold them.
